Miss Earth is an international beauty pageant conducted annually for promoting environmental awareness. It was organized by Carousel Productions and they launched the first Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2001. participants in the pageant are involved with environmental causes and the winner is expected to be involved with international environmental projects.
